Management

Hosting is where website management starts to get complicated. The good news is we offer fully-managed solutions to keep your site secure, fast, and reliable with maximum uptime and zero hassle.

AWS Hosting

Your website needs to be hosted securely somewhere. Hosting services vary hugely. Shared servers are cheap and cheerful (but less reliable and sometimes slower). Dedicated servers require more technical knowledge and come with a higher cost but are faster and more secure. Founder, Sam, has hosted thousands of websites and will advise you on the right hosting solution for your needs.

Our websites are hosted on our private AWS servers (Amazon Web Services). AWS offers industry-leading hosting technology that is super-fast and has little downtime compared with other providers. As well as hosting your website, we can also help with DNS (domain name system) support, hosting your emails and security certificates.

Monthly management

Our monthly management packages keep your website safe, secure and up to date. Monthly management includes:

  • taking regular backups of your website.
  • implementing security updates and bug fixes.
  • reviewing updates and best practices.
  • priority support service.

Security

Website security is one of the most overlooked parts of site management. We want to help you understand why you should prioritise website security and the steps we take to keep your website running quickly and securely.

First up is the security of the scripting and code. The code we use follows industry best-practice to eliminate any loopholes that hackers could use to install malware onto your site. This is something to be particularly aware of when using open source themes or plugins (such as those you might find in the WordPress marketplace).

We put server access under strict IP restrictions; this stops unauthorised access to your site via our servers. Regular updates and bug fixes reduce your site's risks of an attack. Our detailed understanding of cyber security means that if a website attack was attempted, we could stop it quickly and restore a backup.
